|
Saddle Up is a camp for riders with little or no experience with horses. This camp is designed to teach students respect for horses and teach the student to demand respect from their horse. In this camp we will teach how to properly care for the horse, how to saddle and tack the horse, and how to properly ride the horse. By the end of the week, the students will feel confident around horses and confident performing basic maneuvers on horseback.
In addition to riding everyday, students will have full access to the many activities on the campgrounds. Swimming, recreation, campfires, and Bible studies are just some of the many activities that will take place during the week.
The camp will conclude with a horse show where awards and prizes will be distributed. All graduates from this camp will be eligible to enroll in the Buckle Up camp.
